Auction Run Dates: All three auctions open on December 20 and close December 27, 28 and 29. Bidding opens December 20 and lots begin closing at 1:00 pm on each day.
Auction Information: After 42 years, Charleston Lamp Company is closing its doors and Meares Property Advisors, Inc. has contracted with the owners to liquidate the assets of the store. This store was the only store between Savannah, Georgia, and the North Carolina line that exclusively sold linen and parchment lamp shades, designer lamps and table lighting, chandeliers and lighting accessories. This auction will liquidate the remaining inventory (over 1,400 lots) of lighting items, accessories, furniture and fixtures with all items starting at $1.00 and selling to the highest bidder. This is truly an auction you don't want to miss!
Pickup and Shipping Information:
- The building has been sold and all items must be removed.
- Pickup will be at the Charleston Lamp location - 1760 Ashley River Road, Charleston, SC. No items are located at our auction gallery nor will be transported back to the gallery for any reason.
- Pickup dates: January 4 and January 5, 2024 between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm each day. Bidders will receive an email and text from Shipping Saint to schedule their pickup day and time.
- Shipping will be handled by the Michael Cunningham of the UPS Store - store7194@theupstore.com or 843-203-3466 (option 9). They will pick up all shipping items on Wednesday, January 3rd. Buyers will pay their own shipping.
- Bidders can use their own shipping or pickup company but the items MUST be removed on the scheduled pickup dates (January 4 and 5, 2024). NO EXCEPTIONS.
